Seriously Thursday

1.  Seriously! It is November...which means Christmas shopping, which I love!

2.  Seriously, all day yesterday I felt like I was getting a cold, this morning I woke up with a killer headache.  So that just means my weekend will probably be spent with me not feeling so hot...great.

3. The twins are flipping almost 18 months old! 18 MONTHS! I mean now were edging closer to 2 then 1.  This makes me happy and sad.

4.  Can I just hate how ABC decides that to keep us all in suspense by making us wait for 2 weeks to see a new episode.  Revenge is pretty much my new favorite show and last night they say the next new episode will air Nov. 16th...BOO ABC BOO! They do that with Greys too which means I will probably have nothing to watch next week.

5.  Can I just say I am not surprised about Kim K's divorce, while sad I find it funny that she keeps releasing statements.  Who does that.  Most celebs who file for a divorce give the ole "Please repect our privacy" statement, while she keeps releasing statement after statement about marrying for love and she didn't make any money and yada yada yada.

6.  So Lindsey Lohan is going back to jail AGAIN, but I heard out of the 30 days she is supposed to serve she may serve 6 which may turn into a few hours....I mean of course she thinks she is above the law, they keep letting her out as soon as she gets in. 

7.  Becky made my Thursday just so you know! I won her giveaway for Stella & Dot and I am super excited! Thanks girl!

Okay well thats all I have folks.  I'm off to work!

Seriously Thursday

Hey guys! It's Seriously Thursday over at From Mrs. to Mama, I've missed a couple of weeks but this week I definitely had some things that made me go seriously this week.

1.  Seriously my babies toddlers decided they were too cool for 2 naps any longer, they had been 2 naps a day type of toddlers for a long time and it was blissfull but I guess all good things come to and end so we are trying to figure out what works best for our new schedule.

2.  Teen Mom reunion/therapy session, seriously Farrah drives me insane, like when she decided right then that she wanted to take her daughter with her, wishy washy much Farrah, I mean it's bad enough that you were going to leave your daughter with your parents which I guess I can kind of comprehend on her end since she is still I think way too immature to raise her daughter 24/7 on her own but come on.  She is a spoiled little brat who really hasn't changed much from the beginning of the show. ::end rant::

3.  Seriously I am actually ready for fall weather and pumpkins and hay rides and fall colors.  I love fall and we are now having nice weather (mid 70's) which never really made an appearance this summer but is now...weird.  Plus October is my birthday month so that may have something to do with it all!

4.  Seriously I finally sat down and scheduled the twins 18 month (HOLY CRAP 18 MONTHS) appt for November, scheduled the dog for a grooming appointment and scheduled for house cleaners to come do some down and dirty cleaning, I had been meaning to do all of thee above for awhile but finally got around to it.

5.  Seriously I work with all women...enough said...it's been one of "those" weeks over here people.

6.  Seriously ready for the weekend and Grey's Anatomy is on tonight so YAY!

Seriously Thursday

Hey everyone! Happy Thursday! Thanks to Becky for hosting Seriously Thursday. 

So here I go.

1.  SERIOUSLY...Farrah from Teen Mom, this girl must not understand how much her parents help her on a day to day basis with her daughter or I am sure she wouldn't be making the decision to move by HERSELF all the way to another state to care for her daughter by HERSELF.  She will get a rude awakening when she wants to go out with some new friends and has no one to drop her baby off with.

2.  Seriously...I am so PUMPED for a 4 day weekend! Plus is hubby's birthday Friday he is turning 5 28! We haven't figured out what we are going to do yet but as long as we are all together it doesn't matter.

3.  Seriously...Taking a sick day when your a mama isn't all that easy unless you have an awesome support system like we do, Monday morning I woke up with something nasty and was feeling super sick, luckily my mom was going to be watching the babies all day while I should have been at work instead she watched them while I was in my bathroom bedroom. (note to self...keep meds on hand so you don't have to call FIL at 10:30 to call you in a Rx)

4.  I am SUPER EXCITED for my fall shows to come back... I love me some Grey's Anatomy! I think I may have said this one before but I am just so EXCITED!

5.  We got our family pictures done last Saturday and despite the weather not being what we thought it would be at the beach and it being windy, our photographer Kristina got some amazing shots, I have only seen a couple to tide me over until she is finished editing but as usual they are AMAZING!! Seriously Thursday

There are just a few things that made me go SERIOUSLY this week, here they are.

1. Seriously, what do people not understand about RSVP BY! We are hosting a big class tomorrow and people are still calling trying to get a spot.  It goes like this "I know we were supposed to let you know by last week but we finally cleared our schedule so we can go", I say "o ok we have room for you" because well if I say no then that doesn't reflect well on the practice and we can't make anyone mad.  But there is an RSVP on there for a reason people, it means I have to tell someone else how many people to expect for food/seating/etc... People don't seem to get that.

2.  Seriously, I made the BEST dinner last night, cooking calms me, so since I was stressed I busted out bbq ribs, homemade green beans, homemade potato salad and homemade peach cobbler.  My husband thinks I should be stressed more often now :).

3.  Seriously, my babies toddlers are 15 months old now.  We have a doctor appointment next week and after that I will be doing a 15 month post.  But it is crazy how much they are learning right now.

4.  Seriously, we have family pictures next weekend and I am having the hardest time deciding on outfits.  It is so hard to find perfectly matching twin outfits and then ones for mom and dad too.

5.  Seriously, last but not least we are having our carpets deep cleaned this Saturday which means we have to move ALL the furniture out of the house by 9 am Saturday...ALL of the furniture...thats A LOT! Probably shouldn't have scheduled that after a busy event the day before... O well we will figure it out!

Seriously Thursday

It's Thursday guys!! Which means my weekend starts in 3.5 hours!! I'm linking up with Becky for her Seriously Thursday and you should too!!

So what made me go SERIOUSLY this week...

1. I'm sure this is on everyone's list but RHONY reunion part 1, I couldn't turn my head away from the drama of that reunion but SERIOUSLY I couldn't understand what any one of them was saying, they just talked right over the other, no one made any vaid points and it just seems to get worse with every season.  I mean Kelly, I think she is just plain crazy. Ramona is a giant hypocit, LuAnn is a concited B**** who talks down to everyone on that show, and poor Alex and her red face every time she speaks her mind.  Sonia seems to just get over everything in a matter of seconds and Cindy pretty much stayed quiet until the end where I just lost respect for all of them, not that I gave them much respect in the first place but I thought I liked Cindy, I mean she's a mom of twin girls after all.

2.  As to keep on the Reality TV mode, RHOBH is coming back and it looks worse then this years RHONY or RHONJ together so well I'm a little excited.

3.  I'm over the death of Amy Winehouse, is ANYONE surprised that she died, I mean really, it is sad, she did have talent.  But she was an addict through and through who didn't want to change.  The entertainment world keeps going on and on about it but maybe instead of letting this make the news they should put their attention to the problem and use their audiences of millions to get the word out on addiction and try and help people.

4.  Work is busy like SERIOUSLY busy and I am tired so this is all you get for today but check back tomorrow for something VERY EXCITING!!!

Seriously Thursday

It's Thursday! YAY! Which means it is time for Seriously Thursday with Becky from From Mrs. to Mama.  If you want to participate in the fun and meet some seriously fun ladies go link up.

1. Seriously... Landon started running a fever yesterday after his morning nap...like 103.6, I called the dr and they told me 1. I was giving him not enough tylenol now that he is older (which I didn't know) 1. They don't worry unless a kid is laying there unresponsive...That really bothered me, now I know I'm a first time mom and hopefully it's just a tooth making him miserable, but really you don't worry about him unless "he is limp like a doll" (true story). 

2.  Seriously...I'm sick of politics, I mean the election is still 1 1/2 years away and that's all I seem to be hearing about, it's annoying, I'm already ready for it to be over. I mean I care about our country and all but is it necessary to roll all over the U.S. in a tour bus while you haven't actually declared you are running or now ::cough:: Sarah Palin ::cough::.

3.  Seriously...I won my first blog giveaway which made my Tuesday! Thanks Kristin I'm super excited to get my new cookbook!

4.  Seriously...Summer is here and that means new reality tv is on, but my usual sitcoms and dramas are on hiatus until fall! Boo! No more Greys or The Office for this girl.  But Flipping Out starts soon so I think I will live.

5.  Seriously...We have a relaxing weekend coming up! We haven't had a weekend with no plans in like 2 months so I am excited to celebrate the hubby's 2nd Father's Day and relax at home, maybe BBQ and get outside.

6.  Seriously... I have to go to Seattle tomorrow for a dental conference.  Which means I have to get up at like 5 am and get going.  I am a little excited because we get free swag (i.e. toothpaste and toothbrushes), so then I don't have to purchase any of it for a long time.

Seriously Thursday

It's my favorite day of the week again Seriously Thursday over at From Mrs. to Mama.  Well really it's my Friday since I'm off tomorrow~ hence why it's my favorite day of the week!

Here are some things that made me go Seriously...

1.  Seriously... My Pandora station turned on Christmas music, which means it's reading my mind, which then creeps me out, I admit it....I've already started thinking about Christmas {Hangs head in shame}

2.  Seriously...Real Housewives of Orange County this week was crazy, Tamra drives me nuts.  She is such a little brat for lack of a better word.  She goes all crazy of Jeanna, which I know she deserved a little, but then after the fact she totally embellished the fact that Jeanna was going to throw her in the pool... Such drama yet I can't stop watching...what does that make me??



3.  Seriously... I'm about ready to hire a housekeeper, I just can't seem to keep up with my housework lately, it seems as soon as I clean, everything just get crazy and messy again.  Is it bad that I can't wait until my kids are old enough so I can sit on a couch and direct them around...Just kidding...maybe.  I've got to convince the hub's on that one.  ;)

4.  Seriously...I'm so excited that we are finally getting some nice weather, maybe I can get a tan..HA...I don't tan, I can't I think its a disease or something, it took me like 6 months to get maybe 6 shades darker for my wedding.  But I'm just excited to finally be able to get the kids outside and take walks!!

5.  Seriously...I forgot this one, which I don't know how that happened...But really all I have to say about this is usually Kim has is on point with her fashion choices so what the heck was this...Seriously Kim...Seriously.

Well thats really all I can think of for today, that might be a good indication that I have had an ok week! Alright well I hope everyone is having a great Thursday!

Here we go

1.  Seriously...My week is all kinds of screwed up due to the Holiday on Monday, as sad as it is, I keep track of my days by what shows are on, so when Khloe and Lamar decide to show their season finale on a Monday instead of its usual Sunday, I start to forget what day it is.  Not to mention Bravo decided they would skip a RHOOC since it was a holiday weekend...ratings game I'm sure.

2.  Seriously...Will Melissa and Kathy on RHONJ please leave Teresa alone, I mean come on, Kathy thinks she is "not" a "troublemaker"..Girl please, you are so face it.  You are a mean girl with a soft voice.  The fact that her husband gets her a Mercedes because he feels bad that she is picked on is just ridiculous.  And Melissa you aren't tricking anyone, you too are a mean girl with a pretty face, just leave the family drama for off-camera.

3.  Seriously...Our trip to Oregon was great, except for the fact that the twins do not understand that just because you aren't at home doesn't mean you get to stay up and party like a Rock Star in a hotel room until 4 am...Yeah pretty sure we won't be doing that again anytime soon...

4.  Seriously...So here is is June 2nd and we still haven't had a super nice day...they say we may get to 80* this weekend...I'll believe it when I see it, I mean it was raining on my way to work this morning..UGH!

5.  Seriously...I'm having a hard time explaining to little Miss Ava that it isn't nice to bite your brother, but how do you tell a 1 year old that she can't bite her brother who is also a 1 year old...Yeah she's gonna be a handful I'm sure of it.

6.  Seriously...Thank god its my Friday today!

1.  Seriously... My "baby" sister graduates this Sunday from Linfield College in Oregon...shes like crazy smart and already has her "big girl" job lined up, shes an accounting and math major...I'm seriously proud of her.

2.  Seriously...I'm ready for some summer weather, I am so sick of rain/sun/rain/rain/sun, I mean come on mother nature make up your mind already.

3.  Seriously...Couponing is so amazing...just saying

4.  Seriously...I wish this chest cough/cold of mine would vacate my lungs and move along.

5.  Seriously...Walgreens totally screwed with my medication this month... I'm mad at them now..I mean how hard is it, I get this same shot every month and on the 5th month they screw up...seriously.

6.   Seriously...This is fun...Seriously.

7.  Seriously..I acutally feel kind of bad for Teresa from Jersey Housewives, I feel like Bravo brought her family in to bring the drama, I mean I know its for ratings but it's just not as funny when its family and not just a random lady down the street.

8.  Seriously..I'm sad that Grey's Anatomy is over for the season...actually I'm sad that all my usual Thursday night shows are over for the season...I guess I'm glad for Bravo.
